Several studies have been made to try and establish what is causing prostate cancer in some men. There are a number of probable causes of prostate cancer upon which many theories were made, but still they could not put a finger on it. When a man is born to a family history of cancer, he is said to be a probable candidate to having one, too--that is called genetics. Yet no explanation is being offered as to why there are men who get prostrate cancer even though no trace of this particular cancer could be traced in their family medical history. In this latter case, what, then, could be the probable cause?

Further studies were able to establish that there are actually some food chains that could cause cancer, as well as there are some food chains that could strengthen a man's resistance to this dreadful disease. The vegetarian has greater chances of providing his body with enough protection from contracting life-threatening diseases than the carnivorous man. This is because there are two beneficial essential oils - linoleic acid (omega 6) and alpha-linoleic acid (omega 3) - that are believed to be absent in our body system; and therefore we have to resort to eating plenty of raw vegetable and fruits that are rich in these two elements to supplement this void. The presence of these oils are necessary to combat the onslaught of cancerous tissues from invasive attacks. These two essential oils are also found in fish fats. Vitamins C, D (exposure to early morning sunshine is the best source of Vitamin D) and E are also natural elements found in fish and green vegetables, and must also be present in man's daily diet. A low intake of foodstuff like fish, vegetables and fruits is believed to cause a man to be cancer-prone.

Holistic science believes that it is better to get the essential oils needed to combat prostate cancer from a healthy diet of fish, fruits and vegetables in their raw form than to resort to traditional (and more convenient) pills because pills may have side effects that are not present in natural food intake. Take note of this, and try and effect a change in lifestyle.
